Personal/Home Protection Course

This ten hour, NRA based course is designed for the firearm owner who wishes to learn the methods of firearm usage for protection purposes.  The course includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Discussion on Mental Preparedness in Self-Defense Situations
  • Firearm Safety Rules
  • Responsibility of Firearm Ownership
  • Handgun and Ammunition Selection
  • Fundamentals of Marksmanship
  • Operating a Firearm in Stress Situations
  • Laws Governing Firearms and Self Protection

All students will practice firearm safety while learning how to prepare for self-defense situations.  It is the responsibility of the student to provide a quality firearm and a minimum of 150 rounds of ammunition.  All other equipment will be provided by Shooter’s Choice.

Course Fee:  $199.00 per person

NOTE: The Basic Handgun Marksmanship Course is a prerequisite for this course.)
